Scouts is where young people aged 10½–14 really start to take charge of their own adventure.
What it's like:
Troop nights are varied – one week camping skills, the next a community project, or planning an expedition.
When: Thursdays
Time: 19:00–20:30
Where: 6th Banbury (St Hugh’s) Scout Centre
Scouts take part in camping, hiking, expeditions, navigation, cooking, and leadership activities.
Scouts can earn lots of different badges as they try new activities and develop new skills!
Complete all 9 Scout Challenge Awards plus any 6 Activity or Staged Activity Badges of your choice.

Sessions run weekly for 90 minutes. Scouts need outdoor gear for many activities, plus energy and enthusiasm.

At about 14, Scouts move on to Explorers. We support them with joint camps and activities to make the step smooth.
