Cubs is where 8–10½ year olds take on bigger challenges and start to develop real independence.
What it's like:
Pack nights are lively and adventurous – with games, outdoor activities, and chances to learn new skills together.
When: Mondays
Time: 18:30–20:00
Where: 6th Banbury (St Hugh’s) Scout Centre
Cubs enjoy camping, hiking, first aid, pioneering, creative challenges, and community projects.
Cubs can earn lots of different badges as they try new activities and develop new skills!
Complete all 7 Cub Challenge Awards plus any 6 Activity or Staged Activity Badges of your choice.

Sessions are 90 minutes weekly. Cubs should bring outdoor clothes, water bottle, and a willingness to try new things.

Around age 10½, Cubs move up to Scouts. We make the transition gradual with joint meetings and a celebration.
